Chromexcel is a durable full grain leather that has a distinct natural shine and is known for its rich and deep color. Chromexcel, which was developed by the Horween Leather Company in the early 1900s, is infused with a mixture of different oils and waxes.

Great Color, Smell and amazing fit…

Upon arrival after opening the box the Horween #8 is a beauty to look at. I ordered my Brannock size of 9D which worked out well and was spot on true to size. On PNW boots i size down to 8.5D. Luckily the customer service team responded very quickly when i inquired about my other boot sizing. The sticking is very clean and the boot is definitely a looker. You can feel the quality as you slip your foot into the leather lined boot. All amazing features and i am glad i purchased these boots. Delivery was very fast.
