COGNAC JABARI BOAR:

To tackle these challenges, Gallun has developed a new trial tannage called Jabari Boar. Sourced directly from the southeastern U.S., these boar hides undergo a rigorous process to create a softer leather that is ideal for boots. This tannage offers enhanced temper, consistent weight, and balanced oil content.

THE DETAILS:

  • Gallun Cognac Jabari Wild Boar (Sourced from the southeastern United States)
  • Gallun Pig Lining
  • Goodyear welt construction
  • Built on the Morris Last
  • 7 Eyelets
  • Antique Brass Hardware
  • Studded rubber sole
  • Made in Portugal

SIZING GUIDANCE:

The Morris last runs slightly long. Please size down one half size from your brannock size. If your Brannock measurement corresponds to a US size 11.5, we recommend selecting a size 11, for the Morris last.

In the event that your Brannock measurement falls between sizes, we advise sizing up to the nearest whole size for the best fit.

For additional sizing guidance, please feel free to email us at contact@caswellboots.com.

LEATHER DISCLAIMER:

Each boot is crafted from authentic leather, which may exhibit minor scratches, blemishes, and non-uniform coloring. These are inherent traits of the natural material and its finishing.

Nothing Feral

The grain is insane. Just like the product photo. Definitely a jaw dropper. Out of box with brown-yellow color. Applied very thin beeswax and it turned into intense cognac color overnight. Ordered 1/2 size smaller due to the roomy toe box and it fits perfect. The Morris last is great. Roomy toe box but still elegant. Stitching is top quality. The chrome tanned leather is glove soft. No break in period at all. This is a top-quality product. Waited 9 months but happy with my babies.

I love these boots

I recently received my pair, sized correctly per Kevins advice. I love the boots, the Morris last is a wider toe box than my Thursday Captains and gives me all day walking comfort. Easy break in with the boar tannage - it seems like a tough leather and yet has a glove like softness. Color is wonderful, lots of depth with light highlights. What can I say, I can't take them off!

Epic Boots

Sizing: on the Morris Last I went down a half size from my usual heritage boot size (Truman, Bordon, Thursday). I would not recommend dropping any more than a half size and I'm sure that my usual size would not be too big. The Grant Stone Leo Last is in turn more roomy than this Morris.

Leather: I expected the leather to be a little flimsy but none of it. The temper is good and surprisingly even, and the pigskin lining adds to the robust feel. There's a waxy finish too. The colour is rich - how often do you see on line photos which have been digitally enhanced only to be met by disappointment when opening the box. Not here.

Quality: This is make or break for boots. It's no good having great leather and design if the end product is poorly constructed. I could find no faults with mine.

Kevin and Nick have put together a great package. Let's have another please.

The Leather is Special

My first experience with Caswell Anderson just say it won’t be the last. I own many (too many) boots. There’s nothing in my collection that matches the uniqueness of the leather. It’s different enough without being too attention grabbing. Half down from brannock worked. Very little break in w this leather for me.

Very well made. Hiwever the sizing is not correct. I ordered a 10 and it fits way to big.
Its a shame because I waited so long.
